The World Business Council for Sustainable Development to Unveil Report on Energy Efficiency in Buildings Four Years in the Making
The Alliance to Save Energy is pleased to announce that the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) will unveil a groundbreaking report marking the culmination of 4 years of research conducted under the Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EEB) initiative. The unveiling will take place during the EE Global program on April 27th at 10 am during a news conference.
About EEB
The Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EEB) initiative is the world’s largest and most comprehensive research project of its type. Recognizing that buildings are responsible for 40% of the world’s current energy use and CO2 emissions, the team set a goal to assess how to dramatically reduce the energy and greenhouse gas impacts of buildings on climate change. Researchers have collected and reported on data from residential and commercial buildings in the U.S., EU, Japan, China, India, and Brazil.
The WBCSD recognizes that EE Global is the ideal forum to reach out to an international audience and introduce a report that will fuel the dynamic conversations held at EE Global and beyond!
